This is quite funny. Actually I have a copy of this poster made out of satin. Very well made with all of the different colors being separate pieces of satin sewn together. My dad brought it back from Thailand in 1969 when he served a one year tour of duty there during the Viet Nam war. He said it was hand made in South Viet Nam. I was 11 years old in '69. I never knew the story behind this image until I did what you did. I googled "F__K COMMUNISM." I just always thought this banner was a one-off. I've considered selling it, but I'm afraid ebay would reject the ad. Thanks for the story and take care!

Hi Peg, it was great to meet you at BlogHer. It was also my first ever blogging conference and I admit I was overwhelmed - not just at the sheer numbers of blogging females, but also the totally relevant information. Now if I can successfully process even a third of what I hope I heard!

Hopefully, as time goes on, you just hold on to the ways they loved you, and not the pain of losing them. Rabbit isn't the only one in the story who showed the capacity for love - but you guys too.
It must have been so hard to have to watch your little, furry loved one lose strength, but you did what you had to to have more time. Hope you get through the day alright.

I was able to download "Inside Job" during the Oscars after it won. It was very good. I usually only get to see the best picture nominees before the actual Oscars. I then Netflix or download the winners and maybe some of the strong contenders afterwards.

Your dedication to the Oscars is wildly impressive and makes certain individuals with a lousy film school degree feel shame and disappointment in themselves. At any rate, I've HEARD there are websites out there that stream movies that aren't out on DVD just yet. That's what I've HEARD.
